Latin Vespers at Merton College, Oxford

Sospiri will be singing Latin Vespers in the chapel of Merton College, Oxford at 6.15pm on Tuesday 17 May, 2011. Alongside the plainsong hymn, antiphons and psalms, the choir will sing David Bevan’s wonderful 8-part Magnificat Octavi Toni, and Tallis’ Dum Transisset.

Latin Vespers in Merton College chapel

Sospiri are singing Latin Vespers in Merton College chapel at 6.15pm on Wednesday 1 December, 2010. As it is the first week of Advent, the choir will be singing the wonderful plainsong hymn ‘Creator Alme Siderum’, and five psalms, alongside ‘Te Lucis Ante Terminum’ by Thomas Tallis, and a new Magnificat setting by John Duggan.
